Jacob’s practice focuses on Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Guardianships.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2016. He began his career by opening his own general practice in Toledo, concentrating primarily on probate matters, before relocating to southern Ohio to join a Cincinnati-based boutique firm.

Jacob has represented clients across multiple jurisdictions and approaches each matter with a practical, solutions-focused mindset, guiding clients through complex issues with clarity and confidence.

John has more than 30 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and taxation.

He advises individuals and business owners on plans ranging from simple wills to sophisticated estate strategies, with a focus on achieving client goals and minimizing tax exposure. He also guides families through probate matters.

With a Master’s degree in tax, John concentrates on transfer taxation and the income taxation of trusts and estates, utilizing advanced planning strategies such as GRATs, ILITs, and charitable trusts. He frequently writes and presents on estate and succession planning topics and serves as an expert witness in estate planning and federal transfer tax matters.
