Matt is a Shareholder with the firm where he has practiced on the above areas of law for over 20 years.

Matt spends most of his time offering legal services in all types of domestic relations matters. He takes time to understand each unique situation and provides advice with everyone’s best interest in mind. He advises clients on the following: dissolution, divorce, legal separations, custody, child support, alimony, property division, prenuptial agreements, and parental rights. He also understands how to get qualified domestic relations orders (QDRO) issued to ensure pension funds are properly dealt with after a divorce.

In a commercial foreclosure situation, there may be a need for a court-appointed Receiver. Matt has been appointed as Receiver throughout Southern Ohio in over 95 cases and ten counties. His substantial experience in Receivership law has made him one of the leading attorneys in this practice area. Other business services that Matt provides on a regular basis include helping small businesses with formation, growth strategies, and purchasing and selling agreements. He has a great deal of experience with administrative law issues surrounding liquor establishments.

Another portion of Matt’s time is spent on Civil Litigation matters. He spends a considerable amount of time counseling clients about how to be proactive and minimize the risk of litigation. In addition, when disputes arise, he will guide clients through the dispute resolution processes such as mediation and negotiation. However, when parties can’t come to a joint agreement, Matt is prepared to aggressively litigate client matters in court.
