About James
James has nearly 50 years of experience representing business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs in a wide range of business and real estate matters. He also advises individuals and business owners on succession planning, including estate planning and probate.
James brings a unique perspective to his practice, having served as a title company owner and legal counsel on real estate matters, and as a former Magistrate of the local Probate Court. He advises public and private companies on contracts, transactions, employment matters, corporate compliance, and business growth, and works closely with clients to develop practical succession and exit strategies.
In addition, James has extensive litigation experience and represents clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials in state and local courts. He works to resolve disputes efficiently but is prepared to advocate aggressively when necessary.
