Because of recent changes to Ohio laws regarding notarial acts in 2019, with more changes to take effect in April of 2023, it is more important than ever to have a notary who is knowledgeable of notary laws and requirements.
There are specific requirements if a document is signed by an Agent, POA, Trustee, or Officer. The notary certificate portion of the notarization must be appropriately drafted depending on whether an oath or acknowledgment is required.
